DANGEROUS YO-YO DIETING

                                                    www.austinpublishinggroup.com

The repeated lose and gain in the weight of an individual as a result of dieting is called as YO-YO DIETING or WEIGHT CYCLING. Yo-yo dieting is very dangerous as it even leads the individual to death often. The main mechanism under yo-yo dieting is that “when a person is taking controlled diet to lose the weight then, his/her body metabolism (which converts the food we eat into energy) gets slow down and the result is that there will be decrease in the person weight and later when he/she stops to take controlled diet and started to eat normally then we observe weight gain” and this process continues.

This is an activity which is the reason for causing many health problems such as coronary artery disease, muscle loss, type 2 diabetes and increases the secretion of hormone cortisol which is responsible for causing various heart diseases and cancer. Recent studies are saying that the people with yo-yo dieting are mostly attacked by the heart diseases when compared to the ones who are in the stable weight whatever their weight is and the risk of death is nearly 66 percent than normal weight people.

Conclusion:

If there is an intension to lose weight then try to get habituated to do the physical activities instead of dieting and have a healthy body.

STROKE WITH PROTON PUMP INHIBITORS

                                                        www.austinpublishinggroup.com

PROTON PUMP INHIBITOR is a kind of medicine which is used to decrease the heart burn, ulcers in the stomach and duodenum, gastroesophageal reflux disease etc., Heart Burn is generally a condition which involves pain in the chest caused by the stomach acid. This is caused by huge intake of alcohol, Caffeine, chocolates, acidic foods and juices and other beverages which are carbonated. In order to relieve this pain, proton pump inhibitors are taken by the affected person.

Intake of these proton pump inhibitors causes many side effects such as headache, nausea, constipation, abdominal pain, dementia, kidney diseases and mainly causes heart stroke. The effects are based on the dosage of the PPI’s. Various PPI’s used are Protonix, Prevacid, Prilosec and Nexium. People using low dosage such as 10 to 20 milligrams per day will be away from high risks but the use of high dosage such as 60 milligram per day (prevacid) and 80 milligrams per day (protonix) paves a way to higher risk such as heart stroke. The usage of these proton pump inhibitors is increasing day by day and according to the researchers in Denmark, nearly 9500 people using PPI’s  were attacked by stroke in past three years. So they are suggesting people to consult the doctor before taking these PPI’s.

WEIGHT LOSS BY STIMULATING VESTIBULAR NERVE

                                                     www.austinpublishinggroup.com

Overweight is a condition of a body which refers to person who has additional fat i.e., above considerable level. People with overweight face many problems in their daily life. Various causes of overweight are intake of junk foods, sudden decrease in drinking alcohol and smoking, lack of exercise and various medications etc., Overweight also causes many health risks such as diabetes, stroke, obesity, various kidney & heart diseases and other short/long term diseases. We observe people taking many measures like doing different exercises, yoga, meditation, taking specific diet and so on.

In order to decrease the difficulties faced by the people with overweight, our scientists invented a new methodology.  “Stimulation of vestibular nerve present in our body decreases the overweight”. The vestibular nerve is located just behind the ears and its function is to carry sensory information related to body equilibrium to the hypothalamus (portion of brain) which controls the body fat storage. The stimulation of the nerve is done by headset through which the electric current is passed. This technique keeps the body away from storing the fat. This session was taken by an individual four times a week for an hour and this reduces the overweight and keeps the body healthy.
